about.
Creating has always been a part of who I am, whether it was drawing as a kid, making arts and crafts, or jumping into small projects just to explore an idea. That instinct to create stayed with me and eventually led me to UX design, where creativity meets purpose and people.
Before design, I worked in education, arts, and cultural projects, bringing ideas to life and learning to balance structure with creativity. Those experiences built my skills in strategy, problem-solving, collaboration and communication.
I am shifting to UX because I’ve always wanted to do work that’s both creative and meaningful, but in a more hands-on way. In my previous roles, I found purpose in facilitating impactful projects, but I often longed to be the one actually creating the solutions. With UX, I can design experiences that people use and feel, knowing that something I built can make someone’s day a little easier or more enjoyable is what truly fulfills me.
To grow in this field, I expanded my skills through a professional certificate in UX Design from Google and various courses from the Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF), such as AI for Designers and Visual Design, building on my bachelor's degree in Arts Management. I actively build my design skills through online learning, hands-on practice, and by surrounding myself with creative inspiration.
What excites me most about UX is the constant variety and challenge. Every product is different, every user need is unique, and that means there’s always a new problem to solve. I love the idea of combining creativity with critical thinking to design solutions that are not only functional but thoughtful and engaging. There’s no room for boredom; only endless opportunities to learn, improve, and make things better.
Outside of design, I am probably curled up binge-watching a K-drama or anime, baking or experimenting in the kitchen, indulging in my favorite food (pasta, ramen, cakes, pastries—yes, all those carbs and sweets!), or taking a quiet walk to unwind.
